About

Ant Books (formerly Mahon Books) is an independant book publishing house based in Sydney / Eora, Australia that focuses on making and distributing books made by photographers and artists. Ant came into fruition during a summer where three friends spent most days by the water talking about books, art and photography, in between swimming. 

Ant books was birthed from a desire to both honour and share the beauty of the everyday, as captured in pictures, words and art. 

We are always looking for the opportunity to publish great stories. We welcome submissions from creators through our email. 

Ant acknowledges the Gadigal of the Eora Nation as the first and continuing custodians of the land on which we operate, and pay respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
